Natalie Yvonne Peterson 85 of La Crescenta, CA passed away March 12, 2012 due to complications from a surgery. Natalie was born on March 2, 1927 to Fred and Fern L’Amoreaux in Burbank, CA, and lived most of her life in Glendale, Ca and La Crescenta, CA. Natalie had on brother, Justin L’Amoreaux. She married Keith L. Peterson on September 18, 1949, and raised 5 children. Natalie spent her life in service to others, with her family always coming first. She was an accomplished artist, and avid reader, and adept at solving crossword puzzles. Natalie and Keith traveled and camped throughout the Western United States. She also enjoyed giving service to others in the LDS Church during her later years. Natalie will be remember for her compassion, perseverance, charm, wit and her smile. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Kim (Sandy) Peterson of Salt Lake City, UT; Kirk Peterson of Independence, CA; Kevin (Jan) Peterson of Saugus, CA; Laurie (Tom) Aiello of Simi Valley, CA; and Kent (Eileen) Peterson of Wet Islip, NY. Also her grandchildren, Heidi (Lance) Miller, Tami Peterson, Melissa Peterson, Jennifer Peterson, Kristi Peterson, Jason (Jennifer) Peterson, Karrie (Scott) Owen, Darren (Mandy) Aiello, Alisha (Hunter) Paletsas, Holly (John) Farrelly, Jackie (Chris) Smith, Christopher Peterson and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, and best friend Jeanne L’Amoreaux of Morro Bay, CA. Preceded in death by her husband Keith and her brother, Justin L’Amoreaux. Funeral services were held at Crawford Mortuary in Northridge, CA on March 14, 2012. Interment in the Fairview City Cemetery on March 17, 2012 with graveside services.
