Spring City: Barbara Jean Aiken 69 passed away March 19, 2012 in Nephi, UT. She was born June 5, 1942 in Mineola, NY to William R and Nan Kieran Power. Georgian Court College in upstate New York. She married Ira Krex and had 3 children Stephen, Brian Krex and . They were later divorced. She then married Frank Casey in Las Vegas, NV and they were later divorced. She then married Gerry J Aiken in 1977 in Las Vegas, NV. Barbara’s pride and joy was making jams and jellies and sending them to her grand kids in New York and Chicago. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. Barbara loved her kids and was a foster parent to many kids who call her mom and are still part of her life. Survived by her husband Gerry J Aiken of Spring City, UT; children, Stephen (Erin ) Krex of Chicago, IL; Brian (Vanessa ) Krex of New York, NY; Valerie Krex, New York, NY; step children, Brent Jay Aiken of Spring City, UT; Darin T Aiken of Spring City, UT; 17 grand kids and many foster grand kids; Preceded in death by her parents, step sons, Garth Aiken and Brian Aiken.
