JustesenMcRaeMissionJustesenMcRae2Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, McRae Justesen, 79 , returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 26th, 2015, surrounded by his family in Salt Lake City, UT.
Born June 3rd, 1935 to Otelia Carrie Larsen and Charles Vaughn Justesen. Married his sweetheart Barbara Jean Pickering, December 12, 1975 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout his life and served a mission to the Southern States. He was in the Air Force Reserve as an airplane mechanic. He was a hard worker, loving to farm and garden, and loved the outdoors. He was kind and soft spoken, loved by all who knew him. He was always thoughtful of others and loved spending time with his family and living in his hometown of Spring City, UT.
He is survived by his sweetheart of 39 years, Barbara, three children, Esther (Mike) Bennett; Rachel (Scott) Burton; Aaron (Nichole) Justesen; sisters, Patricia Rasmusson; Mary Joy (Dick) Littke; six grandchildren with one on the way.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Creek LDS Chapel (900 N. Main) Spring City, UT. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment in the Spring City Cemetery with military honors. Online condolence at
