Colleen was a dear friend and traveling companion. We traveled to many places – our last trip was to Ireland. We had such a good time. These are wonderful memories that I shall always remember. She was an exemplary president of Rho Chapter-Delta Kappa Gamma and the recipient of the Delta Kappa Gamma Achievement Award. I feel so fortunate to have had such a wonderful and true friend.

I met Colleen in 1986 when I was a new teacher at Alhambra H.S. I had no family or friends in the area and she took me under her wing. We were friends for years and we celebrated her retirement with a big party in my back yard. I have many fond memories of Colleen and Leon.
