PetersonValerieValerie Louise Peterson died unexpectedly and peacefully in Provo, Utah on January 10th, 2019 at the young age of 49. She was born February 17th, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert Dee Sevy and Susanne Foreman Sevy of Annabella, Utah. Valerie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Scott Peterson of Milburn, Utah and their five beautiful children; CarliAnn Jensen and grandchild EllieMay of Tucson, AZ; Ayden & Kayla Jensen of Magna, UT; Talon & Katelyn Peterson of Ephraim, UT; Kamree Peterson of Magna, UT; and Zaily Peterson of Magna, UT. Valerie was the youngest of three siblings: Dorothy Spens of Moroni, UT; Earl Sevy of Cedar City, UT; and she is preceded in death by her eldest brother Dewey Sevy of Fairbanks, AK. We will dearly miss Valerie as she has made her mark in the world as a beautiful person inside and out. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, January 13th, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at 96 N. 100 W. in Mt Pleasant, UT. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, January 14th, 2019 at 11am at the Indianola Ward Chapel, 8000 E. 36500 N. (Indianola canyon road) A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30am to 10:30am. Valerie will be buried in Ephraim City Cemetery following her services. Online condolence

    I’m so sorry for your loss. This is such a shock to hear. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of Valerie growing up. Valerie was kind, loving, and a friend to everyone. My favorite memories with Valerie we’re being in the band together, all those ball games, band trips and summer practices will forever be cherished memories.

    It saddens me to hear that a classmate of mine passed away. Valerie was such a sweet spirit. She was always so kind, caring, and friendly to everyone including me. I’m glad I knew her. Heaven has gotten an angel. My thoughts and prayers to her family at this very difficult time.

    My deepest sympathy in the loss of a very special person. I am in total shock. Valerie was always very wonderful to me and a very caring person. My prayers are with the entire Peterson family.
    This is so difficult to believe. The good Lord, for some unknown reason took her home to be with Him at such a young, tender age.
