Kel Lamar Sorenson, age 45 graduated this life on Saturday November 5, 2022 in Fillmore, Utah. Kel was born in Beaver, Utah on October 29, 1977 to Steven Lamar Sorenson and Patricia Kimball Sorenson.
Kel graduated from Millard High School in 1996 and then attended Utah Valley University for diesel mechanics. Through the years he worked for his family business KSC Rocks, and also G&G Excavation, Double T Feed, and most recently Sunbeam Coal.
He loved riding horses, being around his friends and family and his dogs Whitley, Red & River. One of his greatest passions in life was hunting. His favorite time of the year was the deer hunt and he was most happy on the mountain.
Kel is preceded in death by brother Trevor Wade Sorenson, grandparents Leland Sorenson, Orval & Hope Kimball and niece Staheli Mae Sorenson.
He is survived by his parents Steven & Patricia Sorenson, his siblings; Chad (Jessica) Sorenson, Cole (Kimberly) Sorenson, Cami (Chase) Knaphus. Four nephews, eight nieces and grandmother DonnaVee Sorenson.
Services are as follows; A viewing Saturday November 12, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Kanosh Ward Building located at 25 S Main, Kanosh, Utah. After the memorial service he will be laid to rest in the Kanosh, Utah Cemetery.
