Virginia Henrie Johnson January 30, 1933 – December 6, 2019 Our loving mother, Virginia Henrie Johnson (86), passed away peacefully on December 6, 2019 in Orem, Utah due to causes incident to age. Virginia was born to Cutler and Mary Henrie on January 30, 1933 in Delta, Utah. She grew up on the Sutherland family farm and was the oldest of ten children. She is survived by each of them, a truly remarkable family. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Millard County. She graduated from Delta High School in 1951 and then earned her Associates Degree from BAC in Cedar City, Utah where she was a student body officer. William Gould Breck, 84 of Ephraim, Utah, passed away December 6, 2019 in Lindon, Utah. Husband of Deanna Breck, father of Michael, Christopher, Stephen, David, Nancey, Robert, Wendy & Jan. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim Stake Center, with a visitation from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Ephraim Park Cemetery with Military Honors under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.

Our sweet and precious Jaiden Kirk Christensen, 10 of Freedom, Utah. Flew back to heaven in his sleep at his home on December 4, 2019. Jaiden was Born on July 27, 2009 in Nephi, Utah. To Kami Lynn Olson and Steven Clair Christensen.

Jaiden was loved and cherished by many. He was a proud brother with a big heart. Jaidens favorite activities were building, inventing, drawing, gardening, carving, photography, climbing, hiking, rock hounding, archery, hunting, fishing, sports, fireworks, campfires, tinkering with his dad’s and grandpas tools. Robert “Ag” Nielson

The Kingdom of Heaven gained a great man today November 28, 2019. Robert “Ag” Nielson was born August 6, 1925 to Peter N. and Caroline Ely Anderson Nielson in Oak City, Utah and was welcomed by two brothers, Byron and Glen. Blessed with a wondrous childhood in Oak City he was surrounded by many adventurous friends, and mountains that were extensively explored. A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he began his callings as a 16 year old Scout Master, received his Eagle, and remained an avid Scouter all his life. Charlene Wentz Tuttle

Charlene Wentz Tuttle, 87, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Fillmore, Utah. She was born in her Grandmother Wentz’s home on August 10, 1932 in Provo, Utah to Charles Mastin Wentz and Belva Hills Wentz. Charlene spent her younger years in Provo, prior to her family moving to Mapleton. She met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, “Billy”, while attending Springville High School. Charlene married William Jay Tuttle on November 17, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. Bill and Charlene made their home together in Springville, where they owned and operated a raw milk dairy. They later moved to Holden in 1977, where they were successful farmers until retirement. Charlene was an avid sports fan and loved watching Bill as he played and coached basketball for many years. Elaine Mauchley Olsen, 88, peacefully passed away at home in Mount Pleasant, Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Elaine was born on March 5, 1931 in Murray, UT and was the daughter of Hyrum Mauchley and Amanda Rosella Cole. She graduated from Granite High School in 1949. Elaine married her High School sweetheart, Chad Frank Olsen in the Salt Lake City Temple on November 4, 1949. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary together this year. They were blessed with nine children; Reed (Chris) Olsen, Jennie (Nolan) Phillips, Laraine (Craig) Phillips, Joy (Mike) Wahlin, James (Juliann) Olsen, Kerrie (Brett) Curtis, Becky (Al Jim) Reese, Heidi (Doug) Ross, and David (Sauna) Olsen. Max JaDean Ericksen

Max JaDean Ericksen 83 of Ephraim, UT passed away November 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family in Ephraim. He was born June 18, 1936 in Mount Pleasant, UT to Jay Laurence & Betty Jeanne Clive Ericksen. Max joined the Army National Guard of the United States and the Army National Guard of Utah in October 7, 1953 until February 16, 1956 and then joined the US Navy on March 14, 1956 until October 6, 1961. He was in foreign sea service in Bermuda, B.W.I., Little Creek, Virginia and Sea Enroute Toulon, France. While in Bermuda he was on the USS Osberg (DE-538) and on the USS Shadwell (LSD-15) when in Virginia and France. His highest rank while in the reserves was PFC E-3. While on ships he was a Machinist’s Mate Second Class USNR R. After he was discharged he married his sweetheart Sherry Gay Moosman on August 31, 1962 in Junction, UT. Read the rest of this entry »

Kirt Rex Kellett

Kirt Rex Kellett died November 17, 2019 at his home in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, surrounded by his family. Since moving to Oklahoma 4 years ago, Kirt has been storm chasing tornadoes from his living room. We hope he will be remembered for his fun sense of humor and his love for his family. He likes to make people smile.
Born October 12,1943 to Grant Rexford and Lillis Jensen Kellett. He was the first son and third child to a family of eleven children. Kirt served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Alaskan/ Canadian Mission from 1963 to 1964. Married Shirley Paystrup on May 1, 1970.
Kirt raised turkeys and worked at Moroni Processing Plant for more than 40 years. He loved to hunt pheasants and deer. A successful deer hunt was when his shots missed the target. He enjoyed the friendships and the food. Read the rest of this entry »

Minnie Josephine Seely, 95, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully, November 16, 2019, in the presence of loved ones. She was reunited with her eternal companion, Boyd Richard Seely. Minnie Jo was born July 18th, 1924, in Corsicana Navarro, Texas. She was the oldest of two children born to Wayne Brown and Ida Ethel Berry. Minnie Jo was known for her big expressive blue eyes that at times told a better story than any words. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to tell jokes. She saw the positive in every situation. She was an avid reader of the scriptures, and the gospel of Jesus Christ meant everything to her. Charles B. Jackson (Charlie)

Charles B. Jackson (Charlie) 87 years young -1932-2019.
It was Saturday night November 9, 2019 and decided enough of earthly life. He passed suddenly to rejoin his beloved Maggie(wife of 60 years) and baby daughter Marilyn. Because of his faith in Jesus Christ and the great Plan of Happiness to also be reunited with parents, John Bryan and Velma Olive Robison Jackson and sisters Eileen and Beverly (Reed). He is survived by his siblings Shirley (Stott), Joseph (Sherry), Steven (Pat), Jim (Sherry); his children Charles Jr (Kathe), Cindy Jackson, and Julia Wyman (Steve); and by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He lived a full and wonderful life with an appetite to read and a gift to write. Graduated from Millard High School in 1950 and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. Attended BAC in Cedar City and then Utah State with scholarships in Track and Field graduating with a CPA degree. Somewhere in the middle he served as Captain in the Air Force reserves.
