Vickie Lou Edmunds Dyches, 68 of Spring City, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 22, 2023. Born May 6, 1954 to Jack Keith & Bertha Jean Richards Edmunds in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1972, she then went on to graduate from Mary Kawakami College of Beauty.
She married LaMar Dyches they had two daughters together.

As a child she loved spending time on the mountain with the sheep herd alongside her family, where she gained her love for horses and dogs. She especially enjoyed sipping coffee with her family, and sharing her love of Jesus with her grandkids.

Vickie is survived by her daughter Jill Burr; brothers Larry (Patty) Edmunds and Garth Edmunds; grandchildren, Bodee (Alex) Burr, Hadley (Nacole) Burr; BayLee Burr and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Shelly Dyches.

The family invites everyone to attend funeral services that will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N 100 W, Mt. Pleasant) with a viewing from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Sanpete Pantry.

The recorded funeral services will be available for 60 day from 1/26/2023

    So sorry to hear about Vickie’s death but at the same time I know she hasn’t been doing well for some time. When I saw her walk by my house I wished that I could do something for her but she was quite independent at that point. I was able to take her home in the car once or twice when she looked totally tired out. On a happier note I can imagine her reunion with her parents and Shelly.

    Jill and family, we are so sorry for your loss. You have really had so much asked of you over the years. I have so many memories of growing up around Vickie and our cousins. I always loved to go to Spring City. Sorry we are out of state , but send our love and hugs to you. Stay strong girl, you are amazing.
