Bessie Jane Pedersen was born in Nephi Utah to Robert Jack Johnson and Ellen Norline Tolley Johnson on February 15, 1959. Bessie passed away peacefully in her home on November 27, 2024 after a short hard fought battle with Cancer. She was the baby of 5 kids. Her childhood in Nephi was spent playing with her Sisters, Brothers and Cousins whom she adored.

She married Edwin H. Pedersen on June 6, 1976 and together they had Sharandee (Rusty) Braithwaite, Edwin Delaney Pedersen and Rachael (Jason) Christensen. They spent 45 years together before Eddy passed away in 2021.

She had multiple jobs over the years. She worked at Sew Fantastic where she made many life long friends, the Gas Station in Spring City but her last job was working at the Best Western in Capital Reef National Park with her brother Robert and sister in law Chris. She loved being there with her family and meeting people from all over the world. This was one of the happiest times in her life.

She spent 35 years bowling on the Monday Wild Bunch League where she was league secretary for over 20 of those years. She is a member of the Sanpete County Bowling Hall of Fame. She was very proud to be the league secretary and loved her bowlers like they were her family.

Bessie was loved by so many and will be missed but we find peace that she is no longer suffering in pain.
