Beth Luane Black Frampton

Our beloved Mom, Grandma, and friend, Beth Luane Black Frampton, 91, left this life on Nov. 1, 2019, to spend her 72nd anniversary with her sweetheart, Bertis, who left us almost 20 years ago. Beth was born Dec. 29, 1927 to Willis Eugene and Geneva Bennett Black, the 3rd of 7 children. She married Bertis Frampton on Nov. 2, 1947. Together they had two beautiful children, Susan and Jim, whom they were extremely proud of. They were sealed as a family Dec. 14, 1962. She was the proud grandma of 5 grandchildren; Jamie, Brian, Jessica, Bailee, and Taylor. She enjoyed being a grandma, but was head over heels in love with her 16 great-grandchildren. She was lovingly referred to as “Betha” by them. She loved nothing more than being with her family and having her grandchildren come to visit. Beth loved life and lived it to the fullest. She spent much of her time working at the Fillmore Hospital, DCR, and The Fillmore Information Booth. The “Booth” was her favorite job as she was able to meet and talk with many people. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Beth spent many hours tending her grandchildren, traveling the world with Bertis, volunteering at the hospital as a Pink Lady, and going to “Club” to play pinochle with her friends who later told us she was a wicked card player and always won! More than anything she loved her family and her greatest joy came from being a mom, grandma, and great grandma. Survived by her daughter, Susan, son, Jim (Teresa), 5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a brother; Ben (Genece) Black. While we will miss you fiercely, we find joy in knowing you are reunited with grandpa. We will keep your legacy alive and make you proud as we journey through this life and on to the next. Her family has taken good care of her throughout her life and we are grateful to Sue for living with her during her last years. Thanks to the doctors and nurses for the gentle care and kindness shown to Beth during her final days of life. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov 6, 2019 at noon, with a viewing from 10:30-11:30 at the Fillmore Stake Center. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
