Carol Ann Peterson Cook returned home on December 15, 2020.  She was born on December 30, 1932 in Chester, Sanpete County, Utah to Dallas and Mildred Peterson.  She grew up in Chester Utah and graduated from North Sanpete High School.  She was an excellent seamstress and made it to the state finals for the Wool Growers Association Make it Yourself With Wool Contest.  She attended Snow College for a year where she was the student body Secretary.  She married her high school sweetheart, John Clark Cook in the Manti Temple in 1952, they later divorced in 1986.  Carol was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.  Her favorite calling was being the Relief Society pianist.  She also served in several teaching capacities in Relief Society, Primary and as a Genealogy Instructor.  Carol was an excellent cook, she could make just about everything, she always did steamed pudding at Christmas. She was famous for her chilli, potato salad, pork chops and clam dip.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Grace Peterson Rogge.  She is survived by four sons:  Carl, Eddy (Sheryl), Blake, and Joe (Roxanne), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Carol was fun loving and could always find humor in life.  She will be sorely missed by many family and friends.  Interment will be the Moroni, Utah Cemetery, following a graveside ceremony on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
