Cecilia Daisy Colledge passed away peacefully on Oct 31st, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born Aug 15th, 1956 to Ralph L. & DaisyLee Colledge she instantly became a little sister to Linda, Marilyn, and Buster. Cecilia's first marriage to Doug Taylor was at a young age; they later divorced. She then married Bonner K. Wallace and had two boys: Jay & Curtis; later divorced. She then married James Gunnar O’hara and had two children, Charles & Charlotte; later divorced. Her final marriage was to Christopher Decker. While the marriage had an end, their friendship did not.
Cecilia had many things she enjoyed collecting, friends happened to be one of them. She had a way of finding the person that needed a friend the most and fulfilling that need. However, her closest friends were always her sisters Teresa & Laurelee, until their untimely passing in 2015 and 2016. She was truly devastated as her family was everything to her, always being close and supportive to one another. They would do anything for family & friends, and proved that philosophy throughout their lives.
Traveling around with a large family was quite the feat. It took many vehicles, including the use of a retired school bus. It’s first long distance trip to the Grand Canyon got some unwanted attention. With it now being a private vehicle Arizona state wouldn’t allow it to continue with the classic yellow paint. The family had to stop at the hardware store to get some paint supplies; and Cecilia helped roll the baby blue paint that still adorns the bus to this day. She enjoyed traveling both far and close to home. Whether it be somewhere in Millard County, a National Park with the whole family, or just up Fillmore canyon for an afternoon picnic. One of the favorites being Spring Valley in Nevada.
Cecilia wasn’t afraid to try new things whether it be skydiving, or driving an 18-wheeler across the country. No matter where she was she always came back to Fillmore to help take care of family. Including helping out her Uncle Jay take care of the family farm and feeding the cattle every day. In 2022 she lost her oldest son Jay Ralph; it was a very hard loss that she never fully recovered from. Adding on top of many other losses including her special needs daughter and many other immediate family members in such a short period of time.
So here we are without you, but you are now with them; exactly where you wanted to be. They didn’t forget about you, or leave you behind for long. We will miss you terribly, but now you are free of pain and no longer have to carry the burden of a broken heart.
Cecilia is preceded in death by her parents, her children; Jay Ralph Wallace, and Charlotte Daisy O’Hara. Her siblings: Linda Larsen; Marilyn Morrill; Ralph “Buster” Colledge; Teresa Hardy, and Laurelee Colledge. Her Uncle Jay T. Rogers and recently her Aunt RuJean Brunson. Survived by her sons: Curtis Lee Wallace (Bobbie); James Charles O’hara, her beautiful grandchildren: Destiny Justin, Remington, Aryan, Veda, Maximus, Payton, Lilybelle, and Aspen. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held in Cecilia’s honor on November, 16th 2024 at the Pahvant Senior Citizens Center in Fillmore at 1:00 PM.
