Charles Lorhair Riddle Jr.

Charles Lothair Riddle Jr. 82 passed away September 1, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant, UT. Charles was born January 27, 1942 in Salina to Charles Lothair Sr. and Florence Peel Riddle. 


 Charlie married his high school sweetheart, Glenna Larson, on October 30, 1959. Together they had three daughters, Barbara, Robyn and Nicole.

 

 Charlie drove truck long haul, eventually owning his own company, Riddle transport. Glenna joined him often for trips.


 Charlie and Glenna enjoyed traveling together after he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Charlie’s grandkids and great grandkids were the light of his life. He enjoyed watching them play sports and derby. He also enjoyed camping and gathering wood during the summer to keep the house warm during winter. Charlie enjoyed golfing with friends, meeting them in Laughlin to golf during the winter months. 


 Charles is survived by his wife, Glenna; daughter, Nicole (Steven) Cox; grandsons, Corbin (Rachel) Jacobson, Macoy (Savannah) Cox; granddaughter, Chloee (Chandler) Perez; great grandsons, Jax Jacobsen and Cooper Cox; great granddaughter, Amelia Cox; sisters, Nedra Sorensen, Nannette (Donald) Watson; brothers Leon (Lorelle) Day, Keith (Cindy)Day, Tom (Sherrie) Day and many nieces and nephews.


 Charles is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Barbara Riddle and Robyn Marshall; sisters, Lazon Riddle Cox and Carol Day Doyle and his best fur friend, Shasta.


 A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 11a.m. - 1p.m. at the Peterson Dance Hall in Fairview, UT.
