Christine Elizabeth Black Anderson

Christine Elizabeth Black Anderson died December 6, 2021 in Richfield, Utah of natural causes. She was born August 29, 1965 in Payson, Utah to Phillip Snell and Joyce Elizabeth Stulce Black. She was the first of four children.
Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. She grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Utah from a young age. She attended North Sanpete High School, but received her diploma from Hunter High School. Chris never got over the death of our father. She helped raise her brothers and sister until she had a family of her own. She had a variety of jobs. She worked as a flagger throughout the state where she settled in West Valley. After that she worked at Albertsons for 10 years as a cashier. Chris married Verl Simmons July 31, 1982. Thankfully they later divorced, out of that she had 4 wonderful children. July 10, 1999 she married Brian Lee Anderson and they were blessed with twin girls, one of which did not make it full term and left us.
My stister (as I called her) loved her family so very much. She just didn’t know how to show it in her later years. Chris had demons she battled for many years. Even though we had a falling out as a family, we still love you and we will miss you so very much.
Chris is survived by her husband Brian, her 4 children Alesha and Trent (Bill) Nave; Jessie Simmons and Gina Najera; Jake Simmons, Kirsten Anderson; 6 grandbabies; 1 great granddaughter; siblings, Preston & Brenda Black, Lisa Dutton & Fred Senn, Kelly & Dianna Black; and Judy Anderson, mother-in-law. She is preceded in death by parents, Phil and Joyce Black; son Jason Robert Simmons; daughter Jennifer LeeAnn Anderson; grandparents Lois & Melvin Stulce; Alice and Marion Herold Black; father-in-law Clair Anderson.
Chris we love you and always will. We all are going to miss you tons. I hope you are finally at peace with all of our loved ones. Until we meet again.
Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Rasmussen Mortuary in Mt. Pleasant at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
