On January 5, 2023, Clark passed away at the age of 90. He was born to Andrew and Leta Christiansen on August 8, 1932 in Emery, Utah. As a youth he moved to Provo where he graduated from high school. He then entered the Air Force and was stationed in North Africa during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956. He married his sweetheart, Diane Adams, on October 22,1954 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
While in Provo, he worked at the Geneva Steel Plant and sold Kirby vacuums. The family moved to Boise, Idaho in 1964 where he continued to sell vacuums before managing Goodyear Tire and Seven Eleven stores. He later ran a janitorial service and Kinderland Daycare. They later moved to Provo, Utah where he and Diane managed janitorial crews for BYU before retiring to Spring City, Utah to build his own home. He did handyman work on many Sanpete Co. homes and buildings.
He loved to hunt and fish and had a sense of humor. He enjoyed creating things such as bird houses and the “Far-Out House”. He was a hard working man and passed his work ethic on to his children. He had a lifetime love of horses and also raised fancy chickens and pheasants.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Kelton and Carol Christiansen; his sister, Sherry and Gary Gabitas and his son Todd Christiansen. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
