Dalton Lee George

December 5, 1994 — February 9, 2020

12/5/1994 ~ 2/9/2020

Happy, Funny, Selfless and Hardworking are just a few words that describe Dalton George of Kanosh UT, who passed away February 9, 2020 in a tragic car accident. He was 25 years old when Heaven took him to continue his work.

Dalton Lee George was born December 5, 1994, to Gale and Michelle George of Kanosh Utah. After Graduating from Millard High School and surviving the George Institute of Higher Learning, Dalton served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dalton loves the Lord and has a strong testimony of the Gospel. He was selfless, giving, patient, kind and always put everyone before himself. Dalton has the sweetest soul and a happy spirit.

Dalton (Dotch) grew up in Kanosh, “the Center of the Universe”, as he refers to it, with his 3 brothers, lots of cousins and friends. He had a big imagination and lived many great adventures sword fighting, rescuing animals, apple wars, playing in the mud hole, wrestling with Snapper and charging a toll to go down the street, because they were Robin Hood’s Merry Men. Dalton was very talented and creative. Using that big imagination of his, he wrote many short stories and poems. It’s not unusual to find a stack of papers or a notebook laying around with an amazing story, complete with illustrations and maps.

Dalton had many friends and considered them all brothers and sisters. He enjoyed paintball wars, riding his motorcycle and 4-wheeler, herding cows, gaming, the hot pots and just hanging out with cousins and friends. Dalton was happy and loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved to tease and enjoyed a good joke or prank, especially when the joke was on him. He had such a unique and contagious laugh that we can still hear him laughing. He loved to have fun and make people laugh. He was always the one that friends turned to for a good time. He made friends with everyone and could adapt to any situation.

Dalton married the love of his life, Tamara Watson George, July 19, 2019 in Jamaica. Dalton and Tamara both found true love and they lived a lifetime together in the short time they were with each other. Dalton loved his Tamara so deeply and without reserve. Dalton loved food, especially Jamaican food. He thought Tamara’s cooking was the bomb. He and Tamara spent many hours in the kitchen cooking, eating and playing Monopoly. He was excited for Tamara to teach his Mom to cook Jamaican food and his Mom to teach Tamara his favorite foods.

Dalton leaves behind his Wife- Tamara Watson George, Father- Gale Brant George, Mother- Michelle Ponton George, Brothers- Hayden Gale (Kimari Johnston) George, Colten McKinley George, McKinley Brant George, Nephew- Emmett Hayden George, Niece- Lenora Grace George, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, 41 cousins and a multitude of friends.

Dalton was a loving husband, a caring son and a great friend. He often sacrificed sleep and time, to listen to other’s problems and help find solutions. He had no hate or malice in his heart. He never admitted it, but he was very charitable, helping people out when he didn’t have the means to do so, often saying “It’s only money”

Dalton left this world too soon, but we find peace in knowing he’s in Heaven continuing Heavenly Father’s work. We know he’s happy and watching over us. He left a hole in our hearts that will never heal. We look so forward to the day when we will all be reunited with our sweet Dotch.
