It is with heavy hearts that we recognize the passing of Daniel Isaac Jackson, a beloved son, brother, and father, who unexpectedly left us on August 24, 2024, at the age of 37.
Daniel was born on September 9, 1986, at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James and Eileen Jackson. Growing up in Salt Lake City with his twin brother and four other siblings, Daniel's boundless energy and curiosity for life were evident from an early age. He had an immense love for the world around him, always exploring new things and embracing his natural talents.
Daniel was known for his fearless and charismatic spirit. He could make friends easily, drawing people in with his wit, charm, and intelligence. His ability to learn and teach himself anything he was interested in was remarkable, making him a true "jack of all trades"-whether it was fixing cars, working with all things mechanical or electrical, mastering the art of cooking, or any of his many interests. Daniel's love for animals, gardening, and the outdoors was matched by his passion for traveling, hiking, and experiencing new things.
A talented artist with a creative mind, Daniel had recently embarked on a new journey, starting his own business with aspirations of seeing it grow. He was currently employed with a crew setting up for concerts and venues.
Daniel's family and friends will forever remember him as someone who was unapologetically himself, a man with a wide circle of friends from diverse backgrounds, and someone who always managed to be the "best man" in every sense. His love for life, his family, and his friends was profound. His legacy and memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Daniel is survived by his daughters, Ava (Isla) and Violet; his parents, James and Eileen Jackson; his twin brother, Ammon; his four other siblings, James, Adrian, Paul, and Moriah; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
