David Wildthing Nelson

David Wildthing Nelson, 76 of Chester, Utah, passed away September 24, 2023 in Utah Valley Hospital surrounded by his family. Born March 6, 1947 to Gene Robert & Maxine Tidwell Nelson in American Fork, Utah.
Dave loved mechanics, auto body, building motorcycles, racing motorcycles and stock cars. Won many trophies and awards. Loved adventure and lived up to his middle name “Wildthing”. He lived at Lake Powell for three years working as a boat mechanic so he could fish and play on the water. He was adored by his grandkids and great grandkids. Grandpa Dave always had a story to tell.
Dave had been previously married five times but finally found the love of his life married to Rosalie on July 7, 2014 in Elko, NV.
Survived by his wife Rosalie; Sons Kenny H. (Stephanie) Nelson; Derek Nelson; brother Monte (Kathy) Nelson and grand and great grandkids. Preceded in death by his parents, previous wives, sister Cathy Flatt; brothers John Nelson and Linsey Nelson and sister Peggy Mclanchlan.
A graveside service will be held Saturday September 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Spring City Cemetery.
