Deanna Divers Wirt Breck

November 16, 1937 — December 1, 2020

11/16/1937 ~ 12/1/2020

Mom passed away in Highland, Utah, at the home of her daughter, Nancy. Most all of her children and many of her grandchildren visited her and were with her when she passed. She is now with the love of her life, our Father, and many extended family members.

She married William Gould Breck on August 3, 1956 and was later sealed to him and their children in the Los Angeles Temple on May 25, 1974. She was our civil rights hero, having grown up in Virginia and advocating for the rights of others. She left her job in 1963 as a protest to her employer’s policy of refusing to serve the African American Community. She graduated from college, and ultimately wrote much about injustice and our obligation to learn from the past. She has been a great example to her family.

Bill and Dee had 8 Children, including Michael Douglas Breck, William Christopher Eddy Breck, Stephen Kimberling Jonathan Lloyd Breck, David Matthew Marcus Allen Fiske Breck, Nancy Leigh Linde, Robert Barrett Breck, Henrietta (Wendy) Divers Thomas, and Jane-Christian (JC) Breck-Heaton Jacobson. Her Sister Susan (Cabell Angle) also mourns her death.

Mom is a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is responsible for sending many on Missions, though she couldn’t serve as a full-time Missionary herself. As a self-less servant of God, she served others is in so many ways.
