Deborah Kay St Julien Knott passed away on 22 August 2024 in Provo Utah. Debbie was born on 16 June 1950 to her loving parents, Joy Irene Cameron St Julien and Francis Norbert St Julien who joyfully anticipated their first little girl. She and her older brother, Douglas, grew up in Minneapolis MN and, as she would say, “spoiled and doted on!” She was an excellent student especially excelling in mathematics. At the age of 15, Debbie, her mother, and brother were converted and baptized as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Soon after, her mother moved them to Utah and married Levi Berry Lott, “Daddy”. In Utah, Debbie met Aron Lamar Hansen, the star wrestler at Emery High school. They were married in the spring of 1969. Together, they made their home in Cleveland Utah where they raised 4 children. Debbie was a conscientious mother and served often and faithfully in her church. After a divorce, she moved her four children to Spanish Fork and eventually met and married Michael Wayne Knott, the love of her life. She went back to school and trained as a computer programmer where she worked for many years at Novell and eventually Provo City. Her life was filled with service! In her later years, her entire focus was to work in the Payson Temple where she found great personal fulfillment, encouraged and built lasting friendships, and was known for her generosity and faith in her savior. To her children, grandchildren and family, she guided our ship and steadied our fears in times of darkness and sorrow. We cannot count the tears we shed at her home where we ran when our own lives were shattered, where her love and faith would carefully heal our tender fractures back to health again. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Michael Wayne Knott; 2 grandchildren: Hunter Reaugh Davis, and Celso Isaac Espinoza; and step brother, Sidney Lott. She is survived by 4 children and 3 step children and spouses: Thomas (Deanna) Hansen, Holly (Gilbert) Peay, Mindy (DeVon) Averett, Heather (Kelly) Warr; and Allison Knott, Shelley (Derek) McDonald, and Kerri (Jeff) Wilson. She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Douglas St Julien, Meg Lott Peterson, Kathy Shupe, Janice D’Ambrosio, Tommy Lott, Rodney Lott and Berry Lott. And 39 amazing grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren with 3 on the way! Our hearts are broken but happy for the beautiful reunion she is having in her new heavenly home. Interred at Fairview City Cemetery Utah.
