Doris E. Anderson Guzman, 83, of San Francisco, passed away in the early morning hours of November 16, 2021. Doris was born October 10, 1938 and was the daughter of Doris Green and Keith Anderson. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her stepfather, Stanley Golder, and her brother, Thomas Golder.
Doris was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and spent many years as ward chorister and choir director. She was also very active her local chapters of The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Society of Western Artists. She had a beautiful soprano voice and was also active in the Peninsula Choraliers for many years. In her younger days, Doris was a ballroom dancer and was active in musical theater productions through church and the community. Her home was filled with her many years of artwork, and her ceramics, watercolors, and pastels brought beauty and joy into her life and the lives of her friends and family.
She is survived by her two sisters, Janet (and Dennis) and Sue, nephews, Tyler and Eric, niece, Colleen, daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Robert, and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Julian.
Doris’s funeral service was held in Millbrae, California on November 27. Private interment will be held at Mt Pleasant City Cemetery.
