Dorothy Ann Barkdull Williams

Dorothy Ann Barkdull Williams passed away peacefully on March 26, 2019 at her son Steve’s home in Tooele, Utah. Dorothy was born August 26, 1934 in Meadow, Utah to Ursal K. and Leoma Holbrook Barkdull. She married Grant E. Williams November 22, 1951 in Delta, Utah. Dorothy and Grant lived in Garrison, Ut, San Bernardino, Cal, Salt Lake City and Fillmore, Ut, Salmon, Gibbonsville and St. Anthony, Id. She worked for many years at the Orange Mart in St. Anthony, Id. and retired from Porter’s Printing in Rexburg, Id after 12 years. Dorothy moved to Tooele, Utah to be close to her family in 2007.
Dorothy kept a beautiful yard and vegetable garden and did amazing embroidery work.
She is survived by sons, Michael G. Williams and Steven C (Angela) Williams, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; also a sister, Carolyn (Marc) Rowley and brother-in-law, Jack McAbee. She was preceded in death by her husband Grant, son Russell and daughter Beverly, grandson Steven S. Williams also her parents and brothers DeLynn, LaVoy, Layton, Floyd and sister LaRayne.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Rasmussen’s Funeral Home in Fillmore, Utah, 44 E Center Street from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Fillmore, Utah Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.
The family wishes to express thanks for the special care she received from the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Rocky Mountain Care Willow Springs Center and Rocky Mountain Hospice in Tooele, Utah.
