Frank M Crowther,

February 21, 1932 — June 24, 2021

2/21/1932 ~ 6/24/2021

Frank Martinus Crowther Sr., 89, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at home in Ephraim, Utah. Frank was born February 21, 1932 to Osmond and Idena (Jensen) Crowther in Fountain Green, Utah, the fourth of seven children.

Frank served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South Africa, and he was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a valiant patriot who loved the constitution of the U.S. Later, Frank and Ginger Rose Samuelson were married in the Manti temple 23 June 1970 and settled in Ephraim.

Frank was a life-long builder and inventor who had great faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved knowledge and freedom. He enjoyed sailing, flying, music, and dancing. He was swing dancing into his 80s and took up the cello at 60. He will be greatly missed. He always held a sure knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and has left this life with assurance of a better one beyond the veil.

Frank was preceded in death by his youngest son Gabriel, infant grandson Kent and son-in-law Roger. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Ginger; children Kim, Sabona (Nephi), Adam (Elsy), Katy, Frank (Melissa), and Juliann (John); daughter-in-law Dana; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Always one to plot his own course, at Frank’s request, rather than a funeral, his friends and family gathered together with him before his passing.
