Garry passed away peacefully at home after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He will be missed.

Garry Frank Zubal was born July 26, 1940 in La Veta, Colorado. Shortly after he moved to Dragerton , Utah where he stayed through school. After graduating from High school in Price he joined the Navy for 5 years. He was always very proud of his service in the Navy. After his release he became a draftsman for a company in Salt Lake City.
He met his current wife, Kathy Jo Woodbury Koyle and they were married January 3, 1992 in Reno, Nevada. He became the stepfather to three wonderful children that love him to pieces, Clay Koyle, and wife Robin, that live in Mt Pleasant, Christie Koyle Hardwick, and husband Scotty, that live in Spanish Fork, and James Koyle, and wife Shayanne, that live in Spring City. They have 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. His sister-in-law Patricia Frye of Bellevue Idaho and brother-in-law Steven Woodbury and wife Kris of Draper, Utah.
For Garry’s 82nd Birthday last July he was sealed to his parents and to his wife in the Payson, Utah Temple.
They spent 31 years camping and fishing, four wheeling and riding their snowmobiles. After they retired, they moved up to their cabin at Strawberry Reservoir and spent 7 great years enjoying the mountains and creatures and their wonderful neighbors before moving to Mt Pleasant where they’ve lived for the past 7 years surrounded by wonderful neighbors and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank C Zubal and his mother Charlotte Madsen Zubal. His is survived by his older sister, Charlene Neumeier of Wellington, Utah and his younger brother Fred Zubal of Ogden, Utah, his loving wife of 31 years Kathy, his loving stepchildren, and his loving kitty Mr. Beasley.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone that has been there for us during this hard time. May you all be blessed. He has chosen to be cremated with no services.
