Gary Murray Davies was born on Aug 14, 1943 to Murray and Berna Davies in Fillmore, Utah. He passed away peacefully in Fillmore on July 31, 2023.
Gary grew up in Fillmore and grew up helping with the vault business.
He was a sprinter on the track team and a wrestler. He played Football for Millard and was know as the “Dancing Davies” and he received the High School All American Player Award for football. He graduated Millard High in 1961 the went on to play football at Utah State and joined the Army for 3 years and also join the National Guard for 3 years shortly after.
He was married to Sandy Watts, had two kids, Preston and Michelle, then later divorced.
He then met Patsy White down in Dixie who had a son, Troy, from a previous marriage. They were married and had two sons together, Jason and Todd. They made their home in Fillmore and made a living at drilling and farming.
He enjoyed working on the farm and especially enjoyed watching his westerns and watching rodeos. He loved to go watch horse racing and betting on the horses.
He is proceed in death by his wife Patsy and his parents. He is survived by his children Preston Davies St. George, Michelle (Murrin) Wulfenstein, St. George, Troy Huntersmark, Jason (April) Davies, Fillmore, Todd (Megan) Davies, Delta. He had 10 grandkids and 6 great grandkids.
There will a gathering at the Fillmore Cemetery at 1:00 and the graveside at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, August 2nd.
