Glenna Helen Everitt

Glenna Everitt, 88 of Spring City passed from this life on February 29, 2024. Glenna was surrounded by her loving spouse and children when she left this world.

Glenna was born March 13, 1935 in Spring City, the first born of Hugh and Helen Jensen. Glenna was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her longtime husband of 71 years, Leonard Everitt, 91. Also her three children; Glen (Karen) Everitt, Patricia (Danney) Webb, and Randy (Renae) Everitt; 18 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Roger Jensen and sister Shirley Pitcher. 

Glenna served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in numerous capacities over her lifetime. She was married to her sweetheart, Leonard, in the Manti Temple on June 19, 1952. She worked many years at the processing plant in Moroni and also spent many hours doing farm work with father and husband. She loved to crochet and spent many hours doing many kinds of crafts. 

Glenna suffered multiple illnesses in her later years and inspired her friends and family with her optimism and gratitude for all who helped her especially her loving husband. 

We are grateful for the kind and loving care and support given to Glenna in her final days by the nurses aides and workers in the hospice program. 

We love you Glenna and know that you are now free from pain and your trials and know that all of us have been blessed by you. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 7, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in the Spring City Rock Church. Viewings will be held Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to services, both at the church. Interment in the Spring City Cemetery. Compassionate services performed by the Spring City 2nd Ward Relief Society.
