Glenna Kaye Frutos, 70 of Moroni, Utah, passed away April 25, 2019 at Utah Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born December 7, 1948 to DeVon V and Glenna Jane Nunley Stephenson in Payson, Utah. Married Indalecio “Mel” Frutos January 25, 1975 in Moroni, Utah.
Glenna loved spending time with her family and was grateful she was able to be a stay at home mom. Glenna cherished her grandchildren especially her grand babies and every other baby she met. She enjoyed word searches, fill-ins, dot-to-dots, puzzles, reading novels and was an avid card player. She enjoyed watching the game show network especially Cash Cab. Glenna’s house was full of treats and soda her favorite being popcorn balls.
Survived by her husband Mel; children, Dustin “Dirt” Frutos, Amanda Frutos, Miguel Frutos, Kayden (Rebeca Zamudio) Frutos, Shelby Frutos; sisters, RaNae Vargas, Mickie (Jamie) Alman, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, nephews Kenny and Jason Olson; niece Angela Kaye Frutos.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moroni LDS Stake Center. Viewings will be held Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services both at the church. Interment in the Moroni City Cemetery.
