Jane D. Spicer

Jane D. Spicer, 83, Spring City, passed away at her home on July 10, 2023.

Born March 24, 1940 to Joesph Coyde and Judith Renee Pederson Downard in Spring City, Utah. She was the first of four children. She was a graduate of North Sanpete High School in 1958. She married Elvin S Harward after graduation and they had 6 children together. They later divorced after 16 years of marriage. She married James G. Spicer on August 3, 1979 in Afton Wyoming. The couple were later sealed in the Manti Temple on February 16, 2011. They made their home in Spring City, Utah.

She loved to travel and find new adventures, gardening, and her dogs. She loved spending time with her children and grandkids. Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, baking, she made many birthday and wedding cakes for family and friends, and homemade candy. She loved to listen to music. She liked to go for rides up the mountain and river rafting. She had the need for speed. She was also a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by her Children Elvin (Sandy)Harward, Ricky (Cheryl)Harward, Julie (Doug)Shelley, Lisa (Morgan)Black, Mike (Bobbie)Harward, Kathrine Harward and stepdaughter, Elizabeth Gaston. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is survived by her sister Patrice Jensen, brother-in-law Bob Clark, Sister-in-Law Helen Gent and numerus nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; three stepsons James, Kevin and Scott; granddaughters, Brandy and Angel Harward; Brother Joe Downard and Sister Wendy Clark; Brother-in-law, Larry Jensen.

Funeral services will be held July 15, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Spring City 1^st ward, 15000 North Hwy 117, Spring City. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:30 am-10:30 am at the church.

Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery following the services.

Recordings will be available for 60 days from date of service.
