Jayson LaMar Stephens passed away unexpectedly on December 6th, 2024.
Jayson was born in Salt Lake City Utah on January 1st, 1975, to Pamela and Jay Stephens. He married Cassandra Christensen on June 4th, 1993, they were later divorced. Jayson and Cassandra had three beautiful children. Jayson re-married Shannon McNamara on October 13th, 2019. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Louise Braithwaite and Warren and Zelda Stephens. He is survived his three children Hayden, Cole, and Briar, his parents, Pam and Jay Stephens, his four brothers, Fred, Luke, Walter, and Makay, his wife Shannon, and stepdaughter Elise Johnson.
Jayson was a happy and curious adventurer from the beginning. He spent most of his life in the outdoors. He never missed an opportunity to hunt, fish, or look for arrowheads. He loved taking his children on adventures and teaching them about the great outdoors. When he was not spending time with his children, he could be found high on a mountain with his brothers or his best friend, Danny. With Jayson every experience, big or small, had a gigantic story. He was a great story teller and may have stretched the truth a time or two. Jayson loved music. There was not a band hoodie that he did not own or a concert he did not attend. He also enjoyed watching his step-daughter, Elise, play the cello in the UVU Symphony Orchestra.
A celebration of life will be held at 74 South State Street, Fountain Green Utah on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2 -4 PM.
