Spring City

Jennifer Lyn Allred, daughter of David and Diana Chapman Allred of Spring City, Utah, passed away at her home on the evening of Friday, October 20.  Jennifer was born on June 22, 1985, in the Sanpete Valley Hospital.  She was welcomed home by an older sister Jaime.
She attended local schools and completed some course work at Snow College where she studied music.   She had a deep love for music and a beautiful soprano voice.  She served as Miss Spring City and participated in the Miss Teen Utah pageant.
She loved growing up on her family’s dairy farm, milking cows, feeding the animals and spending lots of time with her best friend and cousin, Kristin.  She also loved the time she spent on the beaches in Delaware when visiting her mother’s family.
As a young adult she struggled with addiction and mental illness.  She and her family were very grateful for the compassion and services provided by Central Utah Counseling Center over the years.
She is survived by her parents of Spring City, her sister Jaime, nephews Braiden Allred, Alex Lund and niece BreiLynn Lund.  She is proceeded in death by grandparents Louis and Winona Allred of Spring City, and Fred and Marjorie Chapman of Lewes Beach, Delaware.
The family extends their appreciation to all who have expressed kind thoughts and provided acts of service over the past few days.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring City 2nd Ward Chapel on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 am.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 am that morning.  A burial at the Spring City Cemetery will take place at a later date.
