John E Draper

John E Draper, 70 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away October 10, 2024 at Utah Valley Medical Center, surrounded by family, of a brain bleed suffered from a fall. He was born February 4, 1954 to Neldon Don Draper & Lois Kathleen Collard in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

John worked drilling water wells for many years. He loved being close to the mountains due to his passion for hunting and fishing. During all of his adventures his dogs were always by his side. They truly were his best friends. John always looked forward to his grandchildren's visits especially on Halloween. John suffered a major Stroke in 2018, leaving him unable to use his left side. At which time his two grandchildren Gilbert Lemus And Noemi Hansen spent time caring for him and keeping him company. John enjoyed the company of his friends, neighbors, and nurses. John liked having someone to talk to and listen to him.

John is survived by his devoted stepchildren; Eloisa Lemus, Olivia Frutos, Angelica Rodriguez, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; Brother; Robert Draper, His two sons; Michael (Mandy) Draper, Clint Draper, He is preceded in death by the love of his life Bonnie Draper, his parents, brother Tony Don Draper, sister Mary Ellen Collard.

The family would like to express their gratitude to his neighbors for helping John in all his times of need. His Home Health Care Nurses and to the trauma teams at UVMC.

Viewing will be held Thursday October 17, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N 100 W) in Mount Pleasant, UT. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
