Kenneth “Kenny” Reid Tucker

Kammy’s love of her life and best friend Kenny Tucker joined his hunting buddy and son Trevyn Tucker on Monday July 29th, 2024 to comfort, embrace, and be with one another in eternal peace. He couldn’t wait any longer to be with Trev and we are so grateful they are together now.

Kenneth "Kenny" Reid Tucker was born February 6, 1966, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Brent and Grace Tucker. Kenny and Kammy met at North Sanpete High School and were instant high school sweethearts. They were married August 15th, 1987 in Fairview, Utah. Together they have three children: Shandi Tucker Sorensen (spouse Garrett Sorensen), Trevyn Kenneth Tucker (spouse Shealee Austin Tucker), and Holden Conlee Tucker (spouse Madison Johnson Tucker). Their grandchildren include Kenlee, Kelby, Harper, Traylee, and Tylie. Immediate family also includes Kenny's brother Jeff and mom Grace along with Kammy’s siblings Kelly, Korry and Kandy and her parents Mike and Reon. Their extended family includes many aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws and brother in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and so many more whose kindness and friendship Kenny and Kammy extended without hesitation or condition. Kenny was preceded in death by his son Trevyn Tucker, his dad Brent Tucker, and many grandparents and great grandparents.

Kenny could fix anything for everyone and was always willing to help others, but of course would never ask for help in return. He loved to help others solve a problem because he found happiness and satisfaction in finding the solution (which he always did). He was willing to take on any project if it helped benefit others, especially his mom Grace. He loved going to her house and fixing what she needed and spending time with her. Using these talents he worked at Skyline Mine for 34 years. During his time at the Mine he made many lifelong friends. Kenny recently started working at CentraCom in Fairview as a Purchasing Manager so he could spend more time with Kammy having lunch and getting home earlier to spend time with her in the evenings.

Kenny loved the outdoors especially camping with his family, hunting with his boys and fishing with Kammy, the love of his life. Kenny was able to go on the hunt of a lifetime. He heroically finished the hunt fulfilling his goal of shooting a record setting elk in spite of breaking his pelvis early in the hunt. Some of his favorite places to go were Lake Powell, Electric Lake, any Sand Dunes and Fairview Canyon. Kenny was always up for any adventure and usually had some kids or grandkids in-tow along with Kammy. The grandkids especially knew he would never say no to taking them out behind the boat on the tube unless he was fixing Kelly’s boat (or anyone else’s boat that knew they could count on him).

Kenny was “ the favorite” of everyone because of his kindness, willingness to listen and unconditional support. He was humble, honest and a person of integrity. He reserved his deepest reservoirs for Kammy and his kids, always there to love and support them and their families. He is a rock and made everyone around him feel loved and at peace. Kammy and Kenny were inseparable from the time they first met in high school and were everything to each other. He made her feel safe and protected. Whenever she needed to be calmed or feel safe she only needed to see him or hear his voice. They are in love and will be always and forever.

Kenny was the Ultimate Badass at everything he did.
