Margene Anderson, age 86, passed away at her home in Delta Utah on July 24, 2022, while surrounded by her family. Margene was born in Oak City Utah August 12, 1935 to Helen and Harold Anderson. She graduated from Delta High School, and later from Carel’s Beauty School in Salt Lake. She married Fred M. Anderson in the Manti Temple and had six girls while living in Oak City. Margene had a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings including Ward Relief Society President and Stake Primary President. She also served two missions for the Church, one to Australia Melbourne and the other to Texas McAllen. In addition to her assigned service, she attended the temple weekly for years.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at a short graveside service attended by family and friends on July 28 at 11am at the Delta Cemetery.
After the service, a dinner will be served by the family- friends are welcome. It will be held after the graveside service at the Delta First ward building (222 West 200 North). Margene offered her love and thanks to all who have helped her and blessed her life. She’ll be greatly missed by her large posterity but we are happy for her to be reunited with her sweetheart Fred.
