Marion Larsen

Marion Larsen 83 of Fairview, UT passed away April 10, 2018 peacefully at her home. She was born August 6, 1934 in Fairview, UT to Wilson and Mary Clea Tucker Larsen. She married Larry Seldon Larsen on November 26, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. Marion was a librarian at Majestic Elementary School in West Jordan, UT and the Salt Lake County Library. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She held many positions in the LDS Church and enjoyed singing in many choirs and playing the piano at church and at home. Marion served in the Manti LDS Temple for ten years as an ordinance worker and also volunteered in the humanitarian programs. She loved celebrating holidays and spending time with family. Her favorite memories were of time spent with her husband traveling and camping in the mountains. She loved gathering pine cones and wild flowers. Marion’s love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable and will be sorely missed. Survived by her children, Larry Lynn (Jeanene) Larsen, Carol Jean (Wade) Withers, Gary Dean (Shawna) Larsen, Annette Larsen; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; sons, David Wilson Larsen and Michael A Larsen; sister, Kathleen Jones; her parents and step-father, Emanuel Erikson. Funeral Saturday April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fairview 2nd Ward (100 N 100 E). Viewings Friday the 20th from 6-8 pm at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N 100 W) Mount Pleasant, UT & Saturday 9:30-10:30 am at the church prior to service.
