Mark Kay Coombs 81 of Moroni, UT passed away January 29, 2023 in Pleasant Grove, UT. He was born February 5, 1941 in Moroni, UT to Morris William and Bessie Sophie Jensen Coombs. He married Karen RaNae Strom on August 12, 1967 in Elko, NV. Mark served in the Utah National Guard Honorably for 30 years and loved being a soldier. He enjoyed all things outdoors, especially hunting. He loved welding and bowling. Mark is survived by his wife RaNae Coombs, Moroni, UT; children, Byran Coombs, Moroni, UT; Robert W. (Misty) Coombs, Moroni, UT; brother, Gordon (Trishan) Everts, Mt Pleasant, UT; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by his Parents, step father, Adolph Everts; granddaughter, Shyrel Coombs; sisters, Inez Clayton, Lula Kirkman, brothers, Morris Coombs and Jimmy D. Coombs. Funeral services will be held Friday February 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moroni LDS Stake Center, 55 N. Center St. in Moroni. Viewings Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. both at the Moroni LDS Stake Center.
