Mary Colleen Jessen Lines

Mary Colleen Jessen Lines, of Mt. Pleasant, UT, reunited with her loving husband December 25, 2018.
Born February 13, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, UT to Eddie & Alice Olsen Jessen.
She attended elementary and high schools in Mt. Pleasant (graduated from Seminary) Graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Completed Masters Degree at Arizona State University. She taught Physical Education and was Department Chairman at both West High School in SLC and Alhambra High School, Phoenix, AZ for a total of 35 years. Member of the LaPradara Park Ward, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she was a Counselor in Relief Society, Visiting Teacher, and served on the Compassionate Service Committee and was a founding member of the Sunshine Club. Colleen was a Lifetime Member of the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD), served in many leadership positions and was a member of the Cactus Wren Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers (DUP).
She married Leon L. Lines December 26, 1974 in Phoenix and was later sealed to him in the Manti Temple. Colleen enjoyed traveling with Leon and with her many friends. She volunteered in helping others in many ways.
Colleen recently returned home to Mt. Pleasant where she resided at the Country Lane Assisted Living Center.
Colleen was preceded in death of her parents, husband and grandchild Justin Witt. She is survived by a brother Edward (Lois) Jessen, Mt. Pleasant, UT; sister (Lucy J. Rokich, Mesquite NV; stepchildren Lucinda (Robert) Witt, Anchorage, AK; Ray (Sharon) Lines, Pleasant Grove, UT; Grandchildren, Jared (Erin) Witt; Jordan Witt; Rachell (Chad) Johansson; Tiffani (Chris) Nukaya; Elisse (Dalin) Hansen; Camille; Celeste (Zach) Harris; Savanna (David) McDougal; Mckenna Lines; 18 great grandchildren and nieces & nephews, Steven (Trina) Lowry, Richard (Deanne) Lowry, Vickie (Cory) Shaw, Craig (Susan) Jessen, Randy (Sue) Jessen, Julie (Clark, deceased) Taylor, Jim (Vikki) Jessen, Patti (Scott) Bates and Brad (Jennifer) Jessen .
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant North Stake Center (461 N 300 W) with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Price City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Online condolence rasmussenmortuary.com
