Mary Mildred Miller 87, passed away November 7, 2021 at her home in Fillmore, UT. She was born February 15, 1934 in Loma Linda, CA to Rhea Snead and Helen Anna Severson Hook. Mary married Charles “Chuck” Ray Miller on January 19, 1952 in Nogales, AZ while Chuck was stationed in the Air Force in Arizona. Mary and Chuck and their family lived in many places in the United States and abroad following Chuck’s work drilling for oil. They lived in Michigan, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Illinois, and spent several years in Central and South America including Peru, Guatemala and Venezuela. Living in these countries in the 1970’s she experienced many challenging and scarey situations including surviving a huge earth quake in Guatemala. Mary knew a great deal of tragedy and loss, losing three of her children and her husband.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Cynthia “Cyndie” Marie (Brent) Bartholomew, Fillmore, UT; siblings, Doris Patricia (Drew) Rasmussen, Fillmore, UT; Charles Rhea (Diane) Hook, Moreno Valley, CA; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Chuck Miller; daughters, Charlotte Yvonne Yeasley and Christina “Tina” Cheré Miller; son, Charles “Chris” Christopher Miller and sibling, Clinton Henry Hook. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing from 11:30a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Pahvant Senior Citizens Center (55 S 400 W). Interment will be in the Fillmore City Cemetery. Online condolence at www.rasmussenmortuary.com

Mary is survived by her daughter, Cynthia “Cyndie” Marie (Brent) Bartholomew, Fillmore, UT; siblings, Doris Patricia (Drew) Rasmussen, Fillmore, UT; Charles Rhea (Diane) Hook, Moreno Valley, CA; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
