Max Howard Bell, 65 of Fairview, Utah, passed away December 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Born December 9, 1958 to Etna “Pedro” & Janice Lee Banister Bell in Liberal, Kansas.
He attended schools in Liberal, Kansas, graduated from Liberal High School in 1977 where he participated in band and wrestling. He enjoyed dirt track racing with his brother Chigger, winning several races
He started pipelining right out of high school. He loved his job and was very respected by those who worked with him. It gave him the opportunity to travel and work in Russia and numerous states in the U.S. including Alaska.
He met the love of his life, Teri while working on a job in Utah. They married March 20, 2004 in Debeque, Colorado. They loved traveling the country together. With this marriage he gained a large extended family that loved him immensely. He will be greatly missed. He loved Utah, he loved his home and he loved his community.
Max is survived by his wife Teri Bell; her children, Kristy (P.J.) Hamilton; Jarid (Nichole) Clark; Kami (Dan) Terry; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Patrick (Ann) Bell; Christopher (Angelica) Bell; Gail Anne (Wayne) Howell; Gaye Deen Zabriskie and several nieces and nephews . Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herbert Lee Bell; In-laws, Burke (Dixie) Nielson.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 12:00 noon with a viewing starting at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Jude Catholic Center (160 E Center St, Ephraim, UT 84627). Interment will be held in the Fairview City Cemetery.
