Rodney V. Coates, 76 of Fairview, Utah, passed away November 23, 2020. Born July 22, 1944 to Vearl Ray & Marietta Brady Coates in Fairview, UT. Married Sherry Corroll April 15, 1966 later divorced. Married Shirley McCrone on February 14 1997 in Farmington, UT and later sealed in the Manti Utah Temple. Survived by his mother Marietta Coates; wife Shirley McCrone, children Wendie (Brian) Giovannoni, TR (Karen) Coates,Win (Lorie) Coates, Chris (MaLynda) Coates, Josh (Angie) Coates, Allen (Jessica) Coates, Sam Coates, Jim Coates, John Coates, Treavor (Ashley) Atwood, Tyson (Tefi) McCrone; siblings Sandy (Steve) Schurz, Curtis (Eddy Jean) Coates, Francine (Blaine) Neil. Preceded in death by his father Vearl and granddaughter, Kaylynn Coates. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fairview City Cemetery with a view at the cemetery starting at 12:00 p.m. under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.
