Scott Kenneth Cordery

9/4/1954 – 4/21/2020

Scott passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 21 in Ephraim, Utah.
He was born on 9/4/1954 to his beloved parents Kenneth Roydon Cordery and Karla Lou Harmon Cordery. He grew up in the foothills of Salt Lake City where he made many lifelong friends and graduated from Olympus High School, excelling in athletics and as a straight A student. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florida.
Upon returning, he graduated from Westminster College to become a very successful registered nurse for many years where he loved helping others. Scott married Cindy Fullmer, and they later divorced.  They had three amazing sons Jonathan, Christopher, and Joshua. He was extremely close to all three sons, enjoying time at the gym, comparing the extent of muscles and fitness with laughter. Scott was an incredible cook. His family enjoyed his wonderful Thanksgiving dinners every year. He took great pride in sharing his knowledge of cooking with his children and loved ones.
Later in life Scott married Dana Thomas, adding two beautiful daughters that he loved dearly, Kimberly and Erin. With his marriage to Dana he also was a proud stepfather to Alexis Thomas and Aja Martin. All four girls looked up to him dearly. He was a dedicated grandfather to Astrid, Lilah and Liam. Scott has been reunited with his sons that he missed greatly. Likewise, we are sad at his passing but look forward to our reunion with him one day.
Scott would not want us to sit in sorrow, but remember him as the funny brother and father, a well known prankster that always made his family smile and laugh with joy. We will remember Scott for all of the love and dedication he gave over many years to his family, children, and grandchildren. We are heartbroken at his passing but take solace in his reunion with his sons and parents and we look forward to seeing him again.
Scott is survived by his former wife Cindy; wife Dana, daughters Kimberly and Erin, stepdaughters Alexis and Aja, his loving siblings and their spouses Karen (Dave) Christensen, Brad (Marilee) Cordery, Janice (Mark) Petersen, plus many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sons Jonathan, Christopher and Joshua.
Due to Covid 19, there will be a private family service followed by burial in the Salt Lake City cemetery.
