In loving memory of Spring Joy Thompson Bronson of Spring City, Utah. March 3rd, 2005—August 14th, 2023
In Payson, Utah on March 3rd, 2005, the Thompson family welcomed Spring Joy to this world. As the youngest of ten children, she was constantly surrounded by love and adoration, and, like a butterfly, she was the delight of every social circle she was part of.
She spent her life making meaningful memories with friends and loved ones; some of which included traveling, horseback riding, taking pictures, listening to music, dressing up, and burning the midnight oil with close friends. She had a passion for humor, plants, stars, and arts and crafts, which she gifted to family and friends. She was equally passionate in her dislike of school. She would rather be surrounded by people, sharing memes, dancing, or throwing a tea party. No matter how simple, she was always down for an adventure.
She had a great love for nature and loved being in it. Evenings at home were often spent with her mom & two closest older sisters doing spa nights, drinking tea, telling stories, watching movies. Everyone knew them as ‘the three little girls.’
On July 10, 2022, in a fairytale wedding, she married Ashton Bronson and the following spring, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Wisteria Promise. She was a devoted wife & loving mother to her little girl. To her, they were her treasures above all else.
However, despite her cheerfulness, she suffered from depression throughout her life. There were difficulties that were beyond her ability to navigate alone, and she was conflicted when asking or receiving help, wanting to avoid inconveniencing anyone. Nevertheless, she strove to make the best life for herself and her family, even while she struggled.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Old Rock Church (150 South Main, Spring City, UT). Viewings will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services both at the church. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.
There are many who miss her, but she lives on in the memories of her parents, Brooks and Bonnie Thompson, her husband Ashton Bronson, her infant daughter, Wisteria, her many, many friends, numerous brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and grandparents who all deeply love her.
