Stanley Robert Anderson

Stanley Robert Anderson of Ephraim, passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 79 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born on October 5, 1944, to Stanley R. and Lois (Myrup) Anderson in Murray.

Stan grew up in Riverton, Utah. In 1967 he married Judy Cox.  They worked together to raise their 6 children. Together, they worked to teach their children to be loyal, hardworking, and good people. The outdoors and guns were synonymous with Stan. Stan served over 25 years on the Highway Patrol in Summit County and Sanpete County. He also served as Sanpete County Sheriff and as an Ephraim City police officer.

Stan's lasting legacy will be his family that he praised again and again throughout his life, always expressing gratitude for them and to God.

Stan is survived by his wife Judy; his children Theron, Julie (Gregg), Angie (Bryan), Maren (Michael), Carson, and Justin (Tauna); sister Karen; his many grandchildren, and his great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, brother in-laws and his son.

Grave-side services will be on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ephraim Park Cemetery, 620 N Main St, Ephraim, with a Gathering at 12:30 PM.
