Steven Lynn Prows left us unexpectedly on Monday 21, 2022. He was born March 18, 1955 to Eric George Prows and Ina Taylor Prows in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Steve was called to serve in the United States Army after High School. He then Married Kay Dedman and had two children, Andy Lynn Prows August 21, 1973 and Amy Kay Prows November 24, 1975.
He worked construction most of his life and later moved to Kanosh where he met the love of his life Alyssa Jeanne Starley. They were married October 18, 2008 in Kanosh Canyon, funnest Deer Hunt he’s been on.
He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and anything that had to do with family. Once you meet Steve you would always remember him. He worked for Harwards for many years, then started Pahvant Produce that he loved and cherished dearly. He loved growing different things just to try them. He was always proud about his plants (tomatoes). In the off season he loved spending time in their wood shop where he made some beautiful oak frames that he sold online. His beautiful work is from California to New York. He loved visiting with people on main street. He could always put a smile on your face. Steve was always teasing someone especially Jeanne his mother-in-law. He got that from his mother. He really missed his mom and dad so much. I truly know they’re waiting for him. We will dearly miss him, until we meet again.
Steve is survived by his wife Alyssa J Prows, son Andrew Prows, Salt Lake; brothers Dale (Robin) Prows, Kanosh; Brent (Nora) Prows, Salt Lake; Ricky Prows, Salt Lake; mother and father-in-law Wayne and Jeanne Starley, Fillmore; brothers-in-law; Thomas (Melissa) Starley, Salt Lake; Steve (Connie) Miller Sandborn, IN, Ind; sister-in-law Regina Starley, Fillmore; grandkids Samantha Ann Prows, Salt Lake; Dakoata McCullough, Salt Lake, Kiason McCullough, Salt Lake; Kaelea Wooden and many many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, he made sure each one of them know how much. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Eric & Ina Prows; daughter Amy Kay Prows; sisters, Linda (Harry) Hudson, Nadean (Ken) Blawer; brothers David (Shirley) Prows, Gary Prows.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kanosh Town Cemetery with a viewing from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. at the cemetery. “Till you can’t”
