Tony Jordan Lamb

July 24, 1972 — April 14, 2018

7/24/1972 ~ 4/14/2018

Tony Jordan Lamb, 45 passed away at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday April 14, 2018 at his residence in South Davis Specialty Hospital in Bountiful, UT. He was born July 24, 1972 to Ren Lamb and Valerie (Jordan) Howcroft in Salt Lake City, UT. He was raised mostly in Tabiona and Heber. TJ was an energetic, fun loving boy! He wore out a lifetime of shoes while he was young. He loved riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and TEASING. He was a shy but tough little guy, he was really good at directions and could find his way around the mountains with the best of them. His nickname was Eagle Eye. As TJ grew up his handicaps, epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and spinal cord injuries became more physical until he ended up in a wheelchair where he spent a little more than half of his life.
Despite his hardships TJ loved life and people. He loved his family and friends more than anything in the world! He had the biggest heart and loved intensely. If you belonged to TJ you could do no wrong and heaven help anyone who was mean to you or hurt you because there would be “hell to pay”. TJ met his girlfriend Kelly in Roosevelt, UT. when he was 16. They were later engaged, for years they wore wedding rings and loved each other dearly but because of circumstances they never married or lived together. TJ had his own way of taking care of business, which was telling mom his problem, idea or what to do as she was his hands, feet and voice. TJ never lost his love of teasing and has probably called you “Dog”. He became very social and had tons of friends, you couldn’t go anywhere in the Uinta Basin without running into several of his friends that he would have to stop and say Hi. Later the same thing happened in and around Provo. He talked to everyone and loved talking on the phone. No matter where he lived he always went home to Mom on weekends, and he lived for those weekends! Later when he couldn’t travel, Mom spent two or more days a week with him at his home at the South Davis Hospital.
TJ was preceded in death by his father Ren Lamb, his fiancé Kelly Swaetzmiller; and all of his grand and great grandparents. He is survived by his mother and step father Valerie and Clint Howcroft; his stepmother Connie Lamb; sister Jody (Xavier) Gonzalez; step-brother Curtis Howcroft; step-sisters Sandy Martinez, Debbie (Brett) Wadley, and Lori Larson; half-sisters Sandy Lee Heinz, and Stacey Smith Howsel; . Funeral services will be held Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing from 1:00 -1:45 p.m. at the LDS Church (122 South State) in Fairview, UT . TJ will then be cremated and buried in Heber City, UT at a later date. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
Special thanks to all the friends/staff who have worked with TJ over the years in his various places, especially Dave Eaton, Gary Golden and South Davis Specialty Hospital, each and every group home. We really appreciate all you have done! You all became family to him as well as to his Family. We love you.
TJ will be in our hearts and lives forever. We will never forget you TJ!
